Project Manager (ERP Implementation)

Location: Westford, MA

Job Purpose Evaluate, solution, design, implement and support new ERP business system. Support a growing business and introduce new business ERP solution as well as business continuity to the company. Create and maintain an effective communications and delivery link between functional management and IT resources engaged in developing agreed upon solutions.

Key Results Area:

  • Actively works with management and stake holders to review progress and functional delivery on a regular committed basis.
  • Uses clear goals to communicate the project vision to project stakeholders.
  • Communicates status outside the team, particularly with senior management, external parties such as consultants, and oversight boards.
  • Takes accountability for the project in terms of successful business value outcome.
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships within business area stakeholders to understand current and future business requirements for use in an ERP system.
  • Use best practices and functional expertise to drive change through technology and business process implementation and redesign.
  • Lead all phases of a Systems Development Life Cycle and Change Control processes.
  • Proven ability to research, understand and apply knowledge of ERP Applications implementations to business.
  • Enable continuous improvement and offer recommendations regarding opportunities to maximize integration and enable new functionality.
  • Document business needs, distinguish between needs and wants, identify gaps between business needs and standard ERP functionality, design and document solutions that fill the gaps, and provide detailed business requirements specifications for developers.
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans to assess the integrity and accuracy of business processes, module functionality setups and modifications, enhancements, customizations, and patches.
  • Develop and maintain end user training documentation and deliver training as required.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation and consider compliance in all business process analysis and redesign activities.
  • Support, analyze, and resolve critical production application issues as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Level of Education: MBA preferred, Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 15+ year’s professional experience working in the information systems field.
