Design experience with electronic systems, circuits, sub-assemblies and circuit boards is required. The successful candidate must have competence in general electronics, power electronics, analog & digital electronics with an emphasis on system level design. Medical device or laser experience is a plus.

Key Results Area:

  • Responsible for the system level design, implementation, test and verification of circuit boards including analog, digital & power electronics circuits for high power medical lasers.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools (OrCAD) and an understanding of proper component placement, routing and PCB design guidelines.
  • Basic competence with PCB layout (Allegro) is a plus.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, wave function generators and signal generators.
  • Demonstrated competence in general Analog and Digital design is required.
